L'opéra de charles garnier (anglais)

À l'occasion du 150e anniversaire de l'inauguration de l'opéra (1875), les Éditions du patrimoine republient cet ouvrage de la collection " Regards " augmenté d'une vingtaine de photographies qui raviront les amateur de l'opéra mais également de l'architecture éclectique et du style historiciste de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle.

The work of one man, the architect Charles Garnier, who designed it down to the last detail, the Opéra Garnier, built from 1861 to 1875, is a monument with an unclassifi able style. It features works by several artistes, including Paul Baudry, Gustave Boulanger, Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Louis-Félix Chabaud, and François Jouff roy.
